Remember That Moment

Updated: Feb 18, 2021

2021 sits on the foundation of past lessons that have helped me to grow into the best version of myself so far. I know this is not the end and I look forward to what the new year will bring.

I am certain of this because I remember that moment. The moment I realized things needed to change in my life.

I had just gotten divorced and really needed to take some time to process and assess what had taken place. I sent my children to stay with my mom for a while so I could reflect on my life and try to get my self-esteem together. It’s the challenges in our lives that nearly break us that give us so much wisdom. This was one of those moments in my life. I knew I needed to take the time to evaluate what I had gone through. If you don’t take the time to glean valuable lessons from the chaos of your life, you will limit your growth. Learning from what has happened in your life is what makes you wise.

I created this logo to help me remember that moment. That moment made me courageous. It taught me that I was strong because I continued to press through even though I had to stand alone when the people that said they would help me abandoned me. That moment made me vigilant. That moment helped me to know that I was loved because it was the first time I decided to love myself enough to have better in life.

I invite you to join me this year as I share more strategies and actionable steps that will help you reach your next level. It took me a while to discover that all those moments that I perceived as my failures or my brokenness, were moments that came to prepare me for this new season in my life. My life lessons have already shown me where the landmines are, and I can help you navigate the hurdles that have been hindering you.

I look forward to working with you
